HCAP’S Innovation Network in cooperation with
MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, open the round
of online dialogue and meetings.

Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations’ Innovation Network announces the first round of online events entitled «Unlocking Digital Potential» in collaboration with MIT Enterprise Forum Greece.

During the online discussions, executives of the wider public sector enterprises will meet with academics, researchers and entrepreneurs, exchanging ideas and opinions on innovative concepts and programs, implemented or planned. Good practices applied in other countries will be also presented.

It is a creative cycle of discussions and dialogue, during which answers will be given to the following questions:

  • How will the wider public sector enterprises embrace and exploit innovation?
  • How is digital transformation efficiently contributing to the provision of better services?
  • How to create infrastructures ready to withstand disruptive events such as a pandemic?
  • Which cybersecurity provisions need to be reinforced in order to protect the digital assets and ensure the uninterrupted operation of enterprises?
  • In which ways could innovation-intensive investments be financed based on new types of financing instruments?

In the online events’ series organized by HCAP’s innovation network, experts from all over the world discuss, exchange ideas and experiences with executives of State-Owned enterprises under HCAP’s portfolio.

The first webcast will take place on Monday, June 22, at 17:00, on:

Building an innovation culture in large State-Owned enterprises”, with an opening speech by Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Minister of Digital Governance.

Mr. Evangelos Simoudis, Founder and CEO of Synapse Partners is an invited speaker is while HCAP’s CEO, Ms Rania Aikaterinari will be the moderator of the discussion.

The second webcast will take place on Thursday, June 25, at 16:00, on:

“Predicting and Preparing for disruptive events”

Speakers: Dimitris Bertsimas, Professor of MIT and Sarab Amin, Assistant Professor of MIT’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Moderated by Ms. Dora Varvarigou, Professor of the School of Electrical Engineering of the National and Technical University of Athens and President of EYDAP’S Board.

HCAP’S CEO, Ms. Rania Ekaterinari, commenting on the announcement of the round of events, stated:
